If typical exercises bore you, you may dread the daily effort forever. In fact, the word "exercise" is a de-motivator for many people. Solution: List some options that will get you up and moving. Take a dance class or join friends for golf. Try water aerobics. Start a walking group with neighbors or friends. The possibilities are endless. 

Don't let your kids sit in front of the TV all day - get outside and have some fun with your family.  Go on a nature walk or play football together. Fill your beach days with volleyball and swimming instead of lounging on the shore. Skip going to the movies in favor of going to the park. Even playground activities like hula hooping and jump roping can be a great way to get moving and spend time with your kids.

You can also work out without even thinking about it by incorporating exercise into your everyday routine. Try taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or try biking to the places you usually drive to. Whenever you do drive, park a little farther away from your destination so you have to walk a little bit more. If you only pick up a few bags of items from the store, try carrying them to your car instead of pushing them in the cart. Even moderate movement helps in tremendous ways - take a stretch break at work, or walk to a co-worker's desk instead of calling them to talk.

Best advice: It becomes second nature to move every day, and that's the ultimate motivation. Think of the good feeling you get from stretching out and moving your body as a reward instead of an obligation. Just give yourself the chance.
